LESTER ROBINSON SR

PRESIDENT

Gospel Entertainment Television

From a young age, Lester Robinson discovered many genres in music that included jazz, R&B, spiritual opera, and contemporary music. His singing talent was recognized by his grandmother when he was at the tender age of three. Therefore Lester trained in spiritual opera with Professor Edward Boatner, who influenced his success as a recording artist today. Lester’s experience comprised of performances at the Gospel Jamboree Aspiring Artist Showcase with headliner Yolanda Adams, Healing in Harlem hosted by Bobby Jones and Sissy Houston, and opening for Alvin Slaughter for the Katrina Disaster Fundraiser at City Hall Park.

In addition to being a recording artist, Lester has accomplished many attributes including, motivational speaking, and radio hosting for Shabach 105.5 FM. Similarly, he acquired the understudy lead role in Momma I Want to Sing written by Vy Higginsen and won the Audelco Award for his performance in Just Friends directed by Ernie McClintock. As a result of his work, Lester broadened his skills to become a writer, director, and producer for his own playwright/screenplay Where’s My Daddy hosted by Hezekiah Walker. Presently, Lester fellowships at Bethel Gospel Assembly Ministries, Inc with the roles Elder, Sunday School Teacher, and Head of Men’s Ministry in Harlem, New York. He currently resides in New York City with his wife and two sons while continuing his fellowship journey and his career in the arts.
